Midwest Powerline, established in 2006 by Louis Monaweck, was founded to create a premier storm response team. The company's mission is to support communities in the aftermath of disasters, deploying highly skilled IBEW tradesmen to restore power safely and efficiently, ensuring a swift return to normalcy. Midwest Powerline has built a reputation for excellence from east to west and north to south.
Louis Monaweck's legacy continues through his sons, who took over operations following his passing in 2016. Their first major contract was with the city of Hamilton, Ohio. After its successful completion, Midwest Powerline secured ongoing maintenance contracts with Duke Energy, AEP, and FP&L.
In October 2023, following the unexpected passing of Brian Monaweck, Chet Monaweck undertook a comprehensive rebuild of the company. Under his leadership, Midwest Powerline has revitalized its operations, upholding the high standards of professionalism and quality control that municipalities rely on.
